Teen Dies After Helicopter Crashes Near Arizona Memorial In Hawaii (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Feb. 22 -- A 16-year-old male passenger has died  from injuries sustained during last week's helicopter crash near the USS Arizona Memorial, The Associated Press reports. Authorities didn't release the name of the victim.

A helicopter carrying five people crashed Thursday near Pearl Harbor's USS Arizona Memorial on the island of Oahu, the U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed.

All those aboard survived, the Coast Guard said, but their identities have not yet been released.

KHON2 News reports that a 16-year-old boy who was in the aircraft was transported to an area hospital in critical condition . At least two passengers, a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, were reportedly in stable condition.

While the Coast Guard initially said a news helicopter had crashed, Civil Beat, a partner of The Huffington Post, reported that the copter appears to be owned by Genesis Helicopters , based on the craft's tail number and model. The company offers tours of Pearl Harbor and other areas, according to the Genesis website. 

In dramatic footage posted by YouTube user "mrmotofy," a helicopter can be seen crashing into the water near the shore.

Hawaii News Now reports the helicopter went down shortly after 10 a.m. off Ford Island , and there was no immediate word of what may have gone wrong.
