Here's What Ahmed Mohamed Has Been Up To Since His Clock Arrest

Time has flown since President Barack Obama took an interest in one very cool clock and its now-famous maker, 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed.

The high school freshman is set to visit the White House Monday and do some stargazing with the president for the first-ever White House Astronomy Night . The visit comes roughly one month after the teenage science wiz was arrested at his Texas high school for bringing in a homemade digital clock that his teacher mistook for a bomb.

Mohamed's arrest ignited a fierce debate about racism and profiling (the teen is both black and Muslim) and launched him from handcuffs to viral hashtag. Here's a look at how America's favorite "clock boy" has been keeping busy since:

Made clocks the coolest accessory since Flava Flav

Supporters have been snapping pictures of themselves with clocks under the #IStandWithAhmed tag. 

Elsewhere online, Ahmed's been crafting a strong Vine game

Selena Gomez would be proud . 

He's met with one of the biggest brains behind Google

Ahmed hung with Google co-founder Sergey Brin at the Google Science Fair Sept. 21.

And sat in fancy chairs with the president of Sudan

Mohamed, whose father immigrated from Sudan, visited the presidential compound in Khartoum with his family Oct. 14 and met with President Omar al Bashir . (Though Amed has met with several world leaders since his arrest, this one was probably the most controversial : the International Criminal Court has charged al Bashir with war crimes and with orchestrating genocide in Darfur in the 1990s.)

He snapped a selfie with Turkish PM Ahmet Davutolu

He hung with Jordan's Queen Rania while in New York

The two caught up at the Social Good Summit during United Nations week in September. 

Meanwhile, New York City gave him his very own day

Mayor Bill de Blasio issued a proclamation marking Sept. 28 as "Ahmed Day."

He also withdrew from the school where he was arrested

Mohamed and his two siblings formally withdrew  from the Irving Independent School District.

But he got a surprise invite to his "dream school"

MIT astrophysicist Chanda Prescod-Weinstein  popped up at the end of Mohamed's interview on MSNBC and called him "my ideal student."

He traveled to Mecca

Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian to walk in space, extended a personal invite  to Mohamed to visit the Great White North.
