Author Stephanie Winston Wolkoff hailed her "vindication" after the attempt by the Trump Justice Department "to silence me."
The first lady decried "unwarranted personal attacks" on her after a former aide said the Trumps have "little regard" for human life or democracy.

The first lady's expletive-laced comments about her holiday duties are coming back to bite her.
The first lady used her White House platform to pursue her feud against her former adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who wrote a tell-all book about Trump.
During a series of secretly taped conversations, the first lady could be heard railing against critics of her husbands immigration policies.
She also doesn't care much for Christmas decorating: "Welp. Melania Trump is apparently on the front lines in the War on Christmas."
"'Oh, what about the children that were separated? Give me a f**king break,the first lady said in a secret July 2018 recording.
"Did you have your fingers crossed when you typed that?" one person sniped at the first lady.
