ESAs can now be classified as pets by U.S. airlines, and only dogs trained in specific tasks must be considered service animals.
The former president and the Labrador retriever became inseparable earlier this year.
I've been working with these wonderful, life-changing creatures every day for the last 22 years.

The new policy doesn't define what that means, though.
