The move comes a day after a judge denied Prince Andrew's motion to drop the sexual abuse lawsuit filed against him by Virginia Giuffre.
Virginia Giuffre filed the lawsuit against the royal in August.
The deal between Epstein and Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre, contained a paragraph that said it protects anyone who could have been included as a potential defendant from lawsuits filed by Giuffre.
Prince Andrew wasnt on trial in the Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking case but her conviction is bad news for the man who is ninth in line to the British throne.
