I did not expect to get this award. I really didn't. Anthony Hopkins surprisingly won Best Actor over presumed front-runner Chadwick Boseman.
The actor became second person to have won three Oscars in the Best Actress category.
The "Nomadland" director follows Kathryn Bigelow, who became the only female winner in the category in 2010 for "The Hurt Locker."
Linda May and Charlene Swankie had never acted before. Now theyre in an Oscar front-runner opposite Frances McDormand.
