The U.S. attorney general faced Republican accusations that the Justice Department has gone easy on the president's son.
Attorney General Merrick Garland is set to come face-to-face with his most ardent critics.

We request a meeting at your earliest convenience to discuss the ongoing injustice that is being perpetrated," the letter to the attorney general says.
