A new PG rating for Mary Poppins raises the question of whether many adults want to engage with kids about difficult themes even when the children do.
Glynis Johns starred opposite Julie Andrews in the classic movie Mary Poppins and was the first to sing the bittersweet standard-to-be Send in the Clowns by Stephen Sondheim.
The musical moment took place Thursday as Andrews was being honored with the AFI Life Achievement Award in Los Angeles.
The "Mary Poppins Returns" star took to the mic for "I Want It That Way."
WHAT'S HAPPENING
The British agent wasnt pleased that Jim from the U.S. version of The Office was married to Mary Poppins.
Meeting the "Mary Poppins" and "Sound of Music" icon was "a dream come true," he gushed.
