A UN envoy proposed talks between Bolivia's interim President Jeanine ez and self-exiled leader Evo Morales, as the political crisis leaves at least 23 dead.
Former President Evo Morales stepped down on Sunday at the suggestion of his countrys military chief following several tumultuous weeks of protests.
Evo Morales' resignation creates a space for the military to potentially step in and assume power.
The countrys military chief called on President Evo Morales to resign in the wake of his disputed reelection last month.
