A federal trial is scheduled to start on Monday for a father and son from Delaware charged with storming the U.S. Capitol together.
Since launching its investigation last summer, the Jan. 6 panel has been slowly gaining new details about what lawmakers said and did in the weeks before the insurrection.
Lawsuits seeking to disqualify Reps. Paul Gosar and Andy Biggs and state Rep. Mark Finchem allege that they are ineligible to hold office because they participated in an insurrection.
Jan. 6 defendant Dustin Thompson had told jurors he wanted to earn Donald Trump's "respect" and "approval."
Thomas Robertson was convicted on all six counts he faced stemming from the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection.
