The Texas walkout came one day after workers shut down Stellantis Ram Truck plant in Michigan.
The union said it was striking the companys pickup plant because it had the worst proposal on the table of the Big Three" automakers.
But any talk of a strike resurgence needs to be put in the historical context of a major long-term decline.
UAW President Shawn Fain shot back at Bill Ford: "[He] knows exactly how to settle this strike."
