A Metropolitan Police marksman was charged Wednesday over the September 2022 death of Chris Kaba, 24.
Randy Roedema and Jason Rosenblatt are both charged with criminally negligent homicide, manslaughter and assault.
Police officers in New Mexico shot the man 12 times after they mistakenly showed up to his home in April.
The officers were captured on body camera footage brutally beating the 29-year-old Black man.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Video of the incident shows police repeatedly punching the man on or near his head as he lay on the floor while another officer restrained him.
Body-camera footage showed state trooper Jacob Brown strike Aaron Bowman 18 times with a flashlight.
Six white former law enforcement officers in Mississippi have pleaded guilty to federal civil rights offenses against two Black men who were brutalized during a home raid that ended when an officer shot one of the men in the mouth.
