Earthquakes
The 7.2 magnitude temblor was felt as far away as New Delhi.
The temblor was felt across western Greece, with people on Lefkada and nearby Ionian Sea island of Kefalonia rushing out into the streets.
In Afghanistan, 7,630 homes were destroyed and around 1,000 animals killed. In Pakistan, over 10,000 homes and 147 schools were damaged, officials said.
These "swarms" actually happen on a somewhat regular basis.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
The death toll is now well over 300, and thousands of homes have been destroyed or damaged.
They were trying to flee their shaking school when some fell in the panic.
"When the earthquake happened the mountain started falling down and buildings all around also fell. At that time everyone was on the road watching out for our deaths."
A powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake caused severe damage across the region.
Some scientists say the odds are lower -- 85 percent.
