Dr. Melanie Obitz-Bukartek

Dr. Melanie Obitz-Bukartek is an award-winning teacher and writer who helps people of all ages experience and leverage the transformational benefits of writing. She is developing a suite of apps to democratize writing instruction, ensuring that all students can access personalized guidance and use writing as a tool for life. Melanie holds a B.S. from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She lives just a few blocks from the ocean with her husband, son, and two beachcombing dogs.
