Dolly Parton on Friday showed love to Beyonc for her new cover of Jolene.

The country icon weighed in after Queen Bey delivered her rendition of the classic song on the album Cowboy Carter, released earlier in the day.

Wow, I just heard Jolene. Beyonc is giving that girl some trouble and she deserves it! Parton wrote in a sweet message on social media, referring to the woman named in the songs lyrics.

Parton, who recorded the original version of the tune in 1973, previously hinted that Bey would be unveiling a cover when she spoke with Tennessees Knoxville News Sentinel earlier this month.

I think its probably gonna be on her country album, which Im very excited about that, she told the outlet.
