It's a tough call -- so a few pals of the famed "pizza rat" have been called in to help us out.

Friends of the rodent, who found fame in September after being filmed hauling a slice down subway stairs in the city's East Village , were enlisted by New York Magazine for the task.

Pies from four of New York's finest pizza-making establishments -- Lombardi's, Grimaldi's, Motorino and Williamsburg Pizza -- were left in a Chinatown park at night.
